Who Can Participate?
We are recruiting 370 participants across 5 stakeholder groups throughout Malaysia to evaluate home telerehabilitation.
Elderly Post-Stroke Individuals
Aged 60 and above with a medical stroke diagnosis within the past 24 months. Access AI-guided motor exercises from the comfort of home with no wearable sensors required.
Caregivers & Family Members
Family members or informal/formal carers providing at least 10 hours of care per week for stroke patients. Help us measure caregiver burden and usability.
Physiotherapists & Occupational Therapists
Registered rehabilitation therapists practicing in Malaysia. Evaluate kinematic scoring engines, clinical workflows, and FHIR electronic health record integration.
General Public & Community Volunteers
Adult Malaysian citizens or permanent residents. Share your perspectives on digital health accessibility, user interface design, and equitable healthcare access.
Policy-Makers & Healthcare Leaders
Representatives from MOH, MDA, MCMC, and health organizations. Participate in Delphi consensus panels on National Digital Health Blueprint (NDHB 2023-2030) alignment.
Why Telerehabilitation with DTAM-MY?
Zero Sensors / Camera Only
Advanced computer vision runs directly on your device browser. No expensive wearable gadgets or uncomfortable wires required.
Strict Malaysian PDPA 2010 Privacy
Video frames are processed ephemerally in real-time on your local screen and never recorded. All data stays within secure Malaysian servers.
Clinical-Grade Goniometry
Validated against international Fugl-Meyer standards (FMA) and WHO ICF core sets for objective motor recovery tracking.
Bilingual Voice Coaching
Real-time speech coaching and pacing in your preferred mother tongue (Bahasa Melayu, English, Mandarin, Tamil).
Allied Health & Clinical Research Technical Hub
Technical validation framework for Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Digital Health Administrators.
Markerless Fugl-Meyer Motor Goniometry
Browser-based Edge AI extracts 21 hand landmarks and 33 pose joints at 30–60 FPS. Delivers scale-normalized active range of motion (AROM), spasticity catch detection, and dimensionless jerk smoothness calculations.
Enterprise HL7 FHIR R4 & EHR Export
Session kinematics and validated PROMs automatically convert into FHIR Observation and DiagnosticReport resources, ready for hospital electronic medical record integration.
Official UTAR Research Contribution Certificate
